How we are helping
In Pakistan and Uganda, Africa, we continue to provide aid to help children and families escape the poverty trap, by feeding the children and providing education. Mothers are taught to sew using sewing machines so they can earn an income to feed their children and pay their rent.
Some of the older children are taught craft skills, so their products can be sold to buy rice for their families, and to make a contribution towards the cost of their education. Some of the children have big entrepreneurial dreams, which can only be realised through education.
