Year-End Update from Uganda – 2025

Greetings to our incredible global family! As the year draws to a close, we wanted to share a snapshot of the busy, hopeful, and transformative work happening here in Uganda. It's a time of intense activity, but also immense celebration for the lives your support is touching.

🛡️ Navigating the Season & Keeping Our Youth Engaged

Uganda is currently in an active election season. With rallies drawing large crowds, unfortunately, it often leads to tension and unrest in public spaces.

However, our primary focus remains unwaveringly on the young lives in our care. We are keeping our children safe and engaged by filling their holiday break with intensive training programs and activities across the slums. Keeping them busy, focused, and off the streets is our number one priority during this time.

🎓 Success Stories: Holidays and Promotions!

We are overjoyed to report that all our sponsored children are home enjoying the holidays with their families! Thanks to your consistent, generous contributions for scholastic materials and school fees, every single beneficiary has been promoted to their next class!

For those who sat for final-level exams, we eagerly await their results. This success is entirely a testament to your support. You have given hope to needy families who had completely given up on the dream of an education. The gratitude from parents, guardians, schools, and community leaders for the ministry's impact is immense.

🙏 Christmas Reach-Out: Spreading the Light of Jesus

Our annual Christmas Reach-Out is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

This Christmas, we plan to share the love of our Lord Jesus with 50+ families (both youth and elderly). These Christmas packages — filled with essential food stuffs and the Word of God — bring genuine smiles and hope. It’s a beautiful activity that has opened hearts across the community, even enabling members of the Muslim community to learn how to pray in the name of Jesus.

⚽ The Power of Play: Sports Academy

Our Sports Academy remains a powerful engine for change! Through dedicated and consistent training sessions conducted during every school holiday, we have managed to transform countless lives.

We are proud to share that we have sent hundreds of children back to school via sports scholarships! Both boys and girls from the Kabowa slum and Wakiso area are excelling. The schools are thrilled with our beneficiaries, whose determined hearts and excellent discipline have helped their teams win numerous trophies! This program is proof that dedication in sport translates directly into academic success and a brighter future.

🏫 Cultivating Talent: Warriors Of Praise School

Our School in Wakiso is two years old and continues to provide quality, Godly education while nurturing the children's innate talents.

This year, the school celebrated a massive milestone: the launch of its first-ever music album, "Omuzad" (A Parent)! The song was a moving tribute from the learners to their parents, celebrating their selfless love. The message resonated so deeply that the parents, inspired by the launch, contributed 200,000 UGX towards helping the school record more songs next year!

We also celebrated a wonderful graduation ceremony for our learners who completed the nursery level and are now moving up to primary school. By instilling a Godly discipline, we are not just educating children, we are bringing about a mindset change for both the learners and their parents.

In Closing

The ministry is growing and giving tangible hope for a better future in Uganda. We are deeply thankful to our leaders, Papa Alistair and Mama Connie, and to every one of you for your unwavering prayers and support.
